Q:Who do you think will be the next Pacquiao figure in boxing? I'm sure you know I really wanna see Donaire take the spot, but I feel he's lacking in several qualities that separate him from Pacquiao.
You’re right, Nonito Donaire is following the footsteps of Manny Pacquiao. Currently, Donaire is at the top 5 in the pound for pound rankings. It’s not impossible for him to take the top spot if the likes of Pacquiao and Mayweather are not anymore in the boxing world. Donaire now is a four division champion having won at the flyweight, superflyweight, bantamweight and superbantamweight divisions. He a has chance to become a six division champion if he can conquer the featherweight and superfeatherweight divisions in due time. Just like Manny who is now an eight division champion.
Manny Pacquiao has a great faith in God, a humble person, supportive to the family and helpful to the least of his countrymen. These are what separate Pacquiao from Donaire and that Donaire must imitate. These are the secrets for Pacquiao’s real success.
